Our Team
The Iron Gall Ink Collective team is committed to supporting writers at the earliest stages of their creative and publishing journeys. We believe strong stories begin with strong foundations, and our goal is to provide guidance, education, and community support that helps writers build confidence and long-term creative success.
Our team works to create a professional, respectful, and encouraging learning environment where questions are welcomed, skills are developed, and writers can focus on growing their craft.
We are here to help you one step at a time.

Oliver Blakemore
Oliver’s not in a band. He likes getting that out of the way early. It saves time. Similar to the metal or punk lyrics he’s accused of flexing his fingers on, he writes stories aimed to earn pumped fists and devil horns. Like so many punks and metalheads before him, he’s a recovering intellectual and an undiagnosed neurodivergent. His idea of a true story is explaining the world by saying it must be witches and dragons (which need befriending) and systemic stereotypes (which need defeating). And he only writes true stories. He lives in Colorado with his partner and her animals. In his daywalker job, he interviews fledgling rock and rollers and writes marketing material for them.
